Modern Eclectic

Eclectic styling best describes this project mixing the "old with the new" was our objective.  Our client was a world traveler, art collector and gourmet cook.  With a love for cats, as pictured below, coordinating materials that were "feline" friendly was important.    We mixed some vintage antique pieces with new contemporary furniture for an update style with an accented paint color that added pizzaz to the Fireplace.   Modern motorized window shades with texture added some elegance without blocking the stunning view from the outdoors.    
   Wooden pendant light fixtures were also installed over the Island to create layered lighting throughout the kitchen.  Our favorite find was the "Live Edge Dining Room Table" with all its characteristics really made the most impact to the space!      

Prescott Ranches

Introducing our latest project, which is located at the top of a mountain in Prescott, Arizona. It's a gorgeous one-story ranch style house with stunning views from every angle. 
   It's a project that is nearly finished with just a few decorative pieces awaiting their arrival and our client was bold when it came to blending an array of color, geometric shapes and textures.  Natural rustic oak wood floors incorporate the main areas with accent colors of Bonsai Green, Ivory Cotton and Navy Blues.  Gorgeous interior finishes of Knotty Alder Barn doors and faux wood beams along with the Black framed windows.   The bedrooms welcome cozy warm Taupe Greys in carpet and Ombre tile along with Navy Blue and Grey paint grade cabinetry.  Cabinet hardware and plumbing fixtures show off their brilliance in finish metal shades of Satin and Champagne Bronze.  
  The media room, which is still under construction will eventually stage conversations to come with the bold stripe carpet in shades of Gold, Navy, Ivory and Tan.  
   This home offers tranquility and a sense of relaxation from the surrounding forest landscape to the organic blend of subtle colors.  Welcome home...and enjoy "sipping that glass of wine" from the back patio as you gaze throughout the valley into this small friendly community. 



Kitchen Ideas

We described this Kitchen as a Modern Farmhouse style. Shaker style cabinet doors, coordinated with Rustic White Oak wood flooring and accented with Black appliances, furniture and decorative lighting.   Overall ceiling height is roughly 9 feet. Southern Highlands

A Tuscan style exterior with a contemporary interior, this custom home was built in one of the most prestigious golf communities of Las Vegas.   A color palette in shades of taupe-grey, creamy white and golden yellow were created in order to blend with the natural finish of walnut wood.  Gorgeous modern lighting fixtures in finishes of bronze, dazzling chrome and silver accessorize each space perfectly.

Contemporary Living & Dining Space

Built in the late 90's, this custom contemporary style home was just what our Client's desired. A young urban couple with toddler twins and two small dogs, this home was perfect for entertaining their family & friends.  An open floor plan with high ceilings, lots of airy windows  and a stunning poolside view of the mature landscaped backyard. 
  Our Client's, who loved the ocean, and a deep love for shades of blue and purple - inspired us with the one piece of art (Peacock Glace') as seen near the marble stone fireplace .  Some of the obstacles we encountered, were the odd shaped angle of Living & Dining Room and angled high pitched ceiling.   Task and decorative lighting along with re-wiring and removal of audio/visual intercoms and surround sound had to be removed or re- installed because the home was outdated.  We re-designed the island in the Kitchen, to accommodated a seating for four.    The master bath had a solid travertine stone wall that was blocking the room and the natural light from glass block windows of the jacuzzi tub.   Our favorite installation was the marble stone fireplace and the gorgeous vinyl wood like floor that was extremely durable for growing a family and encouraging more pets!

Hickory Country Kitchen

You know it's time for a make over...when your small kitchen can no longer afford you the luxury of being cook! And that is what inspired our client to take the next step in remodeling this kitchen.
  Small but cozy, the existing cabinets in this kitchen were old, outdated and offered zero organization.  The kitchen, was the one area for all the family gatherings, and the cook,  "Mr. Mc" desired a buffet style counter and table top area to arrange all the family recipes.   
  What I loved most about this project, was how the pantry was easily added to right end of the room, for additional food storage and all the organizers within the cabinets that created usable space.  The added bay window with framed wood was also ideal for showcasing herbs, succulents and collectables.  
   You would never believe that this stunning space was actually a modular home nestled in the country side! 

Rustic Kitchen REMODEL

Remodel - Hirsh

It was called Project Recovery. A two year project for the Hirsh Residence located in prominent historical part of Las Vegas - Nevada. Project Recovery was a complete remodel to the 1st and 2nd level floors. Originally built in 1968, this custom home had a traditional colonial style exterior with white paint, black shutters and columns. The house needed a complete remodel and look, due to underground pipes that had corroded underneath the kitchen area causing to sink nearly 3” inches. When we first arrived to the project site, the home was in its first stage of surveying to factor how a new foundation would be poured.(see before photos below) Rather then completely demolish the house, a second option was decided by the soils engineer and client. Hydrolic-lifts were placed underneath the frame, and a new 12” thick foundation was poured.
Diva Interior Concepts was then commissioned to transform the interior living space into a stylish classic contemporary feel. Our client, the homes third generation owner wanted to keep certain features that were still apart of its heritage, so we chose to restore the brick wood burning fireplace, the original Swarovski Crystal Chandelier, and the wrought iron stair case now painted black.
A color palette that consisted of shades of grey, taupe, Artic snow whites, golden yellows with black accents now became the theme. Blended white marble tile, blue-grey mosaics, and wood porcelain tile covered the floors and shower surrounds. White Quartz counter-tops paired with Espresso brown cabinets and acrylic white finishes added to the modernization of the space while creating a fresh new look. A space that once felt closed-in and cramped, due to short 8’ foot ceilings, now felt wide open and functional. Lighting fixtures played a key role in creating mood and offering artful decor.
This project is now entering its next phase of completion with decor items such as drapery, wall art, and textiles that will offer additional accents of color and blend with the clients existing antique furniture.

High Rise Loft

This 18th Floor - Loft Unit receives a complete build-out.  The goal was to "create a tranquil living space" upon optimizing the use of several lighting elements.  LED Color wheels were installed on upper cabinets and lower cabinets to mirror the view of the Las Vegas strip.  

Other added details were in the flooring where aluminum pieces were scattered throughout tile and surfaces seperation of vinyl, porcelain and carpet areas.   Colors of Cream, Chocolate Brown finishes and accents of teal brought inspiration from a Client who was a world traveler, lover of art and ocean buff.

Master Bedrm 3 Veer Towers

Gorgeous city views of the Las Vegas strip from every room describe this  high-rise condo located within the Veer Towers of the City Center complex.  Nearly 3/4' of the wall space was windows. Colorful modern home decor items in deep teals, subtle shades of green, white, taupe and gray were the inspiration upon fusing some existing art pieces from the Client.  Challenges came from tricky angles upon trying to create a functional furniture layout plan because of the 24" diameter columns throughout.   Proper lighting was extremely necessary as the original build-out model did not include a lighting package.   We illuminated the space with with track lighting, added ceiling fixtures, table lamps and floor lamps as well as some built-in lighting in the furniture.  The use of vibrant color shades in textiles & counter tops paired with subtle tranquil shades of the wall coverings created a "spa" like setting to this modern style.   Automated roller shades were hidden in the soffit  with emphasis of dim-out shading in the bedroom as the unit faced Southeast with direct sun light.

Gross Point Anthem Country Club

Transitional style home nestled in one of Henderson's most prestigious golf communities, sits on the green with a view of the valley.  The home was originally designed with a Tuscan theme in mind, but the owner changed design during construction, wanting a more contemporary feel.  Although some traditional features were maintained, like the travertine floors, wrought iron motifs and espresso finish plank doors,  other contemporary styles were introduced throughout this home.  The contemporary style cabinets, lighting fixtures, flooring and stair case railing added a much more up to date style, appeasing and attracting many buyers.
