The Kitchen Atelier: A Bright Transformation

This refresh and renovation project transformed a client's dining room, kitchen, and guest bedroom into luminous, functional spaces that better reflected her lifestyle and aesthetic preferences. The centerpiece of the project was converting the original dining room into "The Kitchen Atelier" – a dedicated culinary space for cooking and recipe collection that truly serves as the heart of the home.

The original spaces suffered from dark, overly rustic finishes that didn't align with our client's vision for a brighter, more refined environment. Our design solution introduced custom painted cabinetry paired with farmhouse-style lighting fixtures to create warmth while maintaining sophistication. Rich quartzite slabs provide both beauty and durability, while integrated cabinet lighting enhances functionality and ambiance throughout the cooking areas.

Existing furniture pieces were thoughtfully reupholstered to complement the new color palette and extend the cohesive design language throughout the spaces. In the guest bedroom, custom wall cladding with carefully selected paint finishes creates visual interest and depth, completed with luxury bedding that ensures comfort and elegance for visiting guests.

The result is a seamlessly integrated suite of spaces that celebrates both form and function, providing our client with the bright, welcoming environment she envisioned for her daily rituals of cooking and entertaining.
